A 1-day program focused at creating impact:

  • Increase the impact of your presentation by preparing to deliver effectively and concisely
  • Decrease the time needed to prepare by focusing on the needs of the audience

Skills include:

  • Using the ‘Fish-Bone’ technique to prepare presentations that are concise, persuasive, impactful and to-the-point
  • Using the ‘Story-Board’ technique to prepare effective PowerPoint slides that will support your presentation
  • Using body language (movement, gestures etc.) to increase the impact of any presentation

The program begins with looking at a novel approach to presentations that helps managers communicate their key presentation points quickly and effectively. Participants will be given ample opportunities to practice and receive feedback from the trainer and participants as well as through self evaluations using video-taping.

The program proceeds in the afternoon to look at creating effective Power Point presentations materials using ‘storyboarding’ — an approach that can be used in small groups with pitch-books or in larger group presentations. Again participants will have opportunity to practice and apply the skills immediately in the workshop.
