Essential Management Skills

An international Private Bank had a relatively small team of junior and middle managers many of whom were managing for the first time. As the organization is very ‘flat’, these managers were asked to take a wide range of management responsibilities and were expected to deliver results quickly.

Blue Dot Learning was engaged to designed a 2-day Essential Management Skills Program and a follow-up 1-day Coaching program that would impact practical skills that can used immediately after the workshop. Critical skills like coaching, feedback, delegation, and performance conversations were explored and practiced by participants. The emphasis of the program was to raise the quantity and quality of manager-to-employee engagement.

The program had a very successful run in its first year and was extended to a second year for new and middle managers.
